Young children often find horses fascinating.
They are drawn to these creatures due to their majestic and stunning appearance.
The fact that horses can be ridden adds to their appeal for kids.

But what if you really wanted a horse and your parents kept saying you can’t have one?
Would you accept their decision and find another hobby? Or would you think of alternative solutions, and find another way to make your dream come true?
One girl isn’t so easily deterred.

In the town of Laufen in southern Germany, a 15-year-old girl had a strong desire to own a horse.
However, her parents were adamant about not getting one for her.
Determined to find a solution, she decided to think outside the box.
Then, she had an idea.

What could serve as a suitable alternative to a horse?
She found an unexpected answer in a young cow that her family already had on their farm.
Surprisingly, this cow possessed all the qualities she was looking for – it was well-behaved and capable of following commands.
She was going to jump the cows.

She said, “She was really well behaved and walked normally,” Mayer told the reporters that had arrived at the farm to see if she could really ride a cow all by herself.
“But after a couple of meters, she wanted me to get off! You could see that she got a bit nervous.”
Regina dedicated 2 years to training Luna the cow.
She taught it how to jump over obstacles while she rode on its back and every other trick in the book she could manage.
She became a cow-riding success.

The process was far from easy.
It required immense determination and unwavering persistence.
Initially, even her neighbors found Regina’s endeavor unusual.

A neighbor stated, “At first, I thought it was weird, a kid on a cow? I had to get used to it. But then I thought it was pretty fun.”
Despite achieving success in training Luna, Regina has not given up on her dream of owning a real horse.
She still had the desire to acquire one, though she affirms that Luna will always hold a special place in her heart.
It turns out Luna’s not alone.

Now, you might find this story peculiar, but here’s something even more surprising.
Luna is not the only cow to have been transformed into a showhorse.
A few years ago, a 12-year-old named Georgia Auricht, living near the Kulgera Police Station, faced a similar situation where her parents denied her a horse.
Undeterred, Georgia decided to train and ride cows instead. She managed to break in several cows and calves, taking them to various shows and competitions.

She then said, “I first started with a milk crate trying to get on their back, then I started with a motorbike helmet, then a push bike helmet, and finally I got on the back and I started rounding them up and hopping on their back and I just trained them.”
Though it is an interesting sight to see, cow riding can potentially cause harm to the animal. So it may be best to steer clear of attempting to ride those animals.
